There is nothing like the feeling of flying through the air or floating through the snow on a pair of skis or on a snowboard. To take photographs of these sports is demanding. It is always a small expedition and takes seriuos planning in regards to weather, snow stability and most importantly, time. How long will it take to reach a summit? To get back from the backcountry?

The collaboration between the team of riders and the photographer is based on trust and respect. And fun. If all the above is aligned, it is the most fun one can do. When a shot comes together after planning, calculating risks and often waiting for the right light – it is magnificent!
